For owners who’ve outgrown spreadsheets, or the software they bought

Bring me the problem. Your software is live in a week.

I build tools for work that lives in email, paper and one person’s memory, connected to the systems you already run. Not a demo. The real thing, used by your team, for one fixed price.

03 — How this started

No slide deck. A working app.

In 2010 I was a SouthWest Transit rider with no good way to know when the bus was coming. So I built the app I needed: a real-time bus tracker and schedule reference, with a backend to run it.

I emailed someone at the agency, got in front of their leadership team, and showed it working. They hired me to finish it, and I ran it for six years. They referred me to Plymouth Metrolink, and I built theirs next.

That’s still how I work. I don’t pitch it. I build it, and you use it.

04 — The record

Sixteen years, in order.

Where I’ve been accountable, from the first bus stop in 2010 to running a product department and co-founding a company. Roles and ventures are marked as such — they are not client work.

  2. Role2012–2021

    General Mills

After General Mills acquired Blue Buffalo, a small team was put together to prototype the Buddies app — nothing like it had been done there before. I had it running in under a week, and that prototype is what went to the CMO and the CTO.

    WAND Digital

Owned development and product for the digital menu platform behind forty national restaurant brands. Started moving it off a ten-year-old WebForms monolith onto C# microservices in AWS, hired the team around the new stack, and shipped the first things customers could use without us. Footprint and revenue doubled.

  5. Venture2025–2026

    Omber

Co-founded an async video and assessment platform, built because I was the hiring manager it was for. Designed and built it with a two-person engineering pod I recruited and ran in Ukraine, around a full-time job. One customer was a Fortune 500 software company.

“Stan didn't pitch us an idea, he showed up with a working prototype. He built us a real-time bus tracker and schedule app with the backend to run it. Stan's vision and execution led to what ended up being the first transit agency schedule app in the entire Twin Cities region. He is truly one of the most talented individuals I've had the pleasure to work with.”

Product, design and the build · Minneapolis

Table Two Seven is a software consultancy in Minneapolis, Minnesota, that builds custom software and automations for owner-led businesses, live in a week for a fixed price.

Sixteen years building software — nine at General Mills; five as Director of Development and Product at WAND Digital, who are a client now that I’ve left; and co-founder of Omber, where I recruited and ran the engineering pod in Ukraine that built it with me. Since 2016 I’ve also run TAAKT Watches, a brand I design, source and sell through a shop I built. I’m the one on your engagement, and I stand up a pod when it needs more hands.
